Ginsberg in Philadelphia:
Ian Mackaye shot this footage of Allen Ginsberg as they stauntered around the streets of Philadelphia on a lazy Saturday afternoon (Saturday, January 20th, 2007). The dove in the opening secquence was bought for $12.00 at a poultry store in South Philadelphia, and brought to Independence Hall by Ginsberg, MacKaye, Leon Trotsky, and Thomas Paine, where it was then released in a time honored cleansing ceremony.
