Introduction to JRS Issue #1. The first issue of the Journal of Radical Shimming was brought about by a trip that Sam Gould took; a one month long cross-country journey to investigate "revolutionary localities" in America. The issue developed into a more than fifty page text written in transit, along with footnotes concerning the sites in question, as well as photo documentation of each location.
